At Innovation Bay’s 2026 Venture Down Under on the Gold Coast, Equity Clear CEO Noga Edelstein joined Michelle Hill of Proseek Bio, Chris Gillings of Five V Capital, Amanda Andriano of Admiralty Capital and Rick Baker of Blackbird for a discussion on founder talent, investment pipelines and Australia’s competitiveness.

Venture Down Under brings together senior investors from across Australia and New Zealand, with Innovation Bay reporting participation from more than 100 venture capital firms.

The discussion took Equity Clear’s work directly into the mainstream venture community: not simply asking who ultimately receives capital, but who enters investor pipelines, who progresses and where potentially strong opportunities are being lost.
